Croydon lights up blue to celebrate NHS' 72nd birthday!
Croydon is showing its gratitude note only to the the NHS doctors and nurses during the outbreak, but also the council workers, NHS volunteers and community groups, who have come together to support the health service.
Croydon University Hospital will join national landmarks including The Shard, OXO Tower and Piccadilly Circus, who will also be showing their appreciation for the key workers by lighting up blue on Saturday honouring those who responded to the outbreak across the country.
Alongside this, staff from across the Trust will also be coming together with the nation for the biggest ever ‘Clap for Carers’ on Sunday 5 July at 5pm.
As local Croydonites, please help by taking photos or videos and send them to Croydon University Hospital at firstname.lastname@example.org so that they can share them with their local media contacts as part of a selection of images they are putting together.
Please share them on your social media pages too! Don’t forget to tag it with the hashtags #lightitblue and #thankyoutogether.
Also, please tag them on Twitter - @croydonhealth, Instagram - @croydonhealthservices, Facebook - @ Croydon Health Services so they can repost your photos.
