Venue Review: Jury's Inn Croydon
£2.75 million was spent on the 240 bedrooms, the lobby, the restaurant and the bar.
With a fantastic location, just a short walk from East Croydon station, and the convenience of swift access to both central London and Gatwick, Jury's Inn hotel is a great option for either business or leisure.
As with most hotels, the décor is kept neutral, although the graphics celebrate famous London sights, like the London Eye. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, a flat screen TV with Freeview, fast WiFi and, an exclusive DREAM bed. If you read the rave reviews on Tripadvisor, you can be truly reassured by the comfort of this bed.
An executive upgrade gives you extra space and amenities, such as a mini fridge, a safe and complimentary mineral water, as well as allowing you a late check out. So, despite it saying ‘executive’, this upgrade might be one to consider for a leisure stay too.
The modern bar and restaurant, simply called The Kitchen, offers a range of food. Of course, you have Croydon on your doorstep, with a wide range of amazing places to eat. Sometimes, after a long day, it is good to know that there is a bar and restaurant where you can unwind.
The Costa Coffee is popular with guests; and ideal for those on the go. Corporate guests can also use the Connectivity Area, with free high speed WiFi. Jurys Inn also has 14 fully equipped conference and event rooms. Bearing in mind its convenient location, Jurys Inn is an ideal place to gather people from different parts of the country and abroad.
We were particularly impressed with this stunning makeover. Obviously, we’re not the only ones; Jury's Inn received a Four Star AA Accreditation in September.
