Easy to spot in their highly distinctive, pink ‘I’m here to help you’ uniforms, Michael, Nilupa and Josh are part of our new on-street concierge service for those that live, work and visit Croydon town centre. 

 

The trio is being deployed nine hours a day, five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday to offer you all the support, advice, information and guidance that you need and all with a friendly, welcoming smile. Our street ambassadors are on hand to help you discover all the wonderful events and activities Croydon town centre has to offer. 

 

Funded by Croydon BID, the street ambassadors also play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operational needs of our local businesses, ensuring that cleanliness and safety issues are rapidly addressed to maintain the town’s positive appearance and appeal.  

Croydon BID is delivering the street concierge service in conjunction with visitor welcome and street management service provider, the Welcome People, which provides similar services in 13 towns and cities across the country and recently gained a Silver Award from Visit England in the ‘Visitor Information Provider of the Year’ category.
