Beginners Yoga at Matthews Yard
Our Wednesday evening offering is Yoga for people who would like to start a practice or who are returning to Yoga after a break.
This class starts by warming up the body followed by sun salutations and asanas (postures) guided by our wonderful teacher. Learn and practice breathing exercises integrated with the physical movement and take time to feel good alignment to fully experience each posture. The class ends with deep relaxation to support a calm and less reactive mind.
This class is open to all. Our aim is to support you to enjoy the start of your yoga practice.
Mats and props are provided, all you need to bring are comfortable clothes that you can move easily in and a hand towel.
